With work so busy, I can only take quick trips these days.
Ken let me know that he was finally ready to ride after knee replacement, and scheduled a meet up at Larry's place near Newberry.
I rode the nice route down from Jacksonville and met him there mid afternoon, Saturday.
Larry was there and I went out for BBQ dinners for us as we were getting in on a zoom meeting with the VCdM group.
Our destination Sunday was three courthouses. Volusia County in Deland, Flagler County in Bunnell and St. Johns County in St. Augustine.
Ken's chosen route from Newberry to Deland was a good one. Curves and hills in Florida are rare, but these roads had some. We also rode through the beautiful horse farms around Ocala.
We have now seen 50 of the 67 courthouses in the state.
We ended up visiting friend Deb at her RV park in St. Augustine Beach before Ken headed to his hotel and I rode home.
It was great to get outside and riding again. Can't wait until the next one.
