I just want everybody here at MV, how grateful I am to Jim H. from Maine. Many of you know him, but I just want you to know that if you ever need a key he is the master.

Last week I fedex my Only (Blue) key that I had for my ET4. As you know if you go to the Vespa dealership, they told me that I had to replace the whole system because I did not have the brown key.

After an email to Jim, he told me this was pure and unalterated BS from the dealership in order to control the key market. he told me that he could copy my key and return it in 24 hours.

Well, let me tell you that while I was out of town working, I fedex my key to Jim and that same day that he received it, he fedex 2 working copies back to me in California, by the way the keys arrived before I came back from my business trip!

Keys work great and I think the least I could do is to thank him here where I met Jim.

If you ever need a key or anything related Jim is a Master Locksmith and above all, he is a great guy to deal with.

Thank You very much for your time and for your help Jim,

Cheers,

Gil

Wow, that's good to know. I was very paranoid about losing my brown key. I guess I can relax a little now.

So how much would you charge to make me more blue copies from either of my existing keys? The dealer quoted me (I think) $50 for each new blue key.

I concur. Jim made me a clone of my only blue while I rode around with my brown, and he even fixed up a botched cut key made by a local inept locksmith for me.
