I just purchased a 2008 MP3 400 and have noticed an issue with the seat unlocking with the remote. Sometimes it works and many times it doesn't. When it doesn't unlock, I unlock it manually from the trunk.

Any suggestions on how this can be fixed?

First step would be to install fresh batteries in the remote fob.

I will check the battery in the remote. However, the trunk opens fine, but when using the remote to open the seat, I hear a different single click sound compared to twin - spaced out clicks when the seat opens successfully. So, I think the issue is likely to be something else.
Someone suggested that the solenoid might need to be replaced?

If you hear one click, that'll be the solenoid. Check how the cables are connected...
