You got it right. The Year Royal Alloy came out, there was another company hawking exactly the same metal scooter at Eicma. And the guy from Lambretta was in their booth screaming at them.
And like every other scooter ever made in China... https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/EURO4-vintage-49cc-petrol-scooter-50cc_60871588019.html Not your cup of tea? How about a 946? Which is the retail price, by the way. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/popular125cc-scooter-for-sale_62518562686.html Recognize this Vespa model? https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Hot-Sale-Vespa-Scooter-50cc-Gas_60820775191.html Neither does Piaggio.

Very glad to see them back. I'm a Royal Alloy guy myself. Having ridden the new 300 with 21.75hp, I loved it. Nice handling and very nicely finished off. Of course, it's got the Euro 4 Vespa engine in it but with a little more power and torque than when it's in the Vespa. And very good it is to.
