I have a modern primavera 2015, my scooter can start but won't move when I'm turn the throttle.... I just change the throttle body to the new one... Can anyone help me solve the problem
Can you roll the throttle hand grip? Does it move? Can you look at your throttle body and find the cable that operates when you roll the throttle? Is it there? Does it move? Is it connected?
I ask because your header says you can't turn the throttle but your narrative says you turn the throttle. Just trying to sort it out.
"Vespa primavera rough Idle and can't turn the throttle"
"my scooter can start but won't move when I'm turn the throttle."
The cable is connected and the the throttle move but the tyre won't move when I turn the throttle...the engine dead when I turn the throttle.. Is it possible the fuel injection broke?
You need to be ruthlessly methodical about this. If you throw random parts at it you'll never get it fixed. Engine not responding to throttle if the butterfly valve is moving in the throttle body could be a problem with fuel, or compression, which is easier to check. Does the engine stall? If so, spark could be the problem too.
Are you seeing a check engine light?
Don't the throttle bodies have to be paired to the ECU for proper idle speed? Replacing that would have been a LAST resort in my book, after replacing the fuel injector, but even that would be pretty far down the list.
Can you push the bike by hand? Trying to determine if a stuck caliper is causing your problem. There was recently a thread about that same complaint. Engine would rev up but bike wouldn't move.
