Hi

I have one PX200E manufactured 1997. It have no disc brake so I believe it's PX200E BME not FL model.

So far I saw the BME is marketed in Japan.

There are FL and FL2 models.

I just want to know what's the acronym PX, BME and FL stands for.

I've been looking for the answers for quite sometime.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know too much about Japanese Vespas or the BME, but in Europe the E(FL) was the second generation of the P from 1984, and it didn't have a front disc brake, like the green one is your photo. The disc brake was added in the late '90s, at a time when they were still technically the EFL (FL2??), but the official name changed to PX Disc in 1998, and then the MY for the new millenium (like the beige one in your photo).

So what's the meaning of FL?
