But - like it says in the old Italian scooter manuals : "When the snow-a touches you-a puke tube-a ---- you no gonna ride-a today-a!"

I can wait.....

(if I'd-a left-a that stubby-a Piaggio puke-a tube on-a , I'd be riding today-a!)

I ordered/received a Zuma 125 puke tube to install on my Liberty. My wife said she'd help me get the Liberty in the kitchen to do the install because its cold out. My wimpy hands can't handle the cold.

Some build them themselves but on safety in use "I don't put my hand in the fire" From what i have seen in the USA almost everything is allowed in terms of modifications / car and motorcycle accessories ... https://www.motociclismo.it/calze-gomme-moto-catene-come-attrezzare-ruote-inverno-69244 The article says that, apart from the Wunderlich for BMW, there are no approved snow chains for motorcycles. |

Attila, I honestly thought that was your actual scooter in that picture. I was like "That's crazy and he's gonna scratch his rims all up!". I've been caught on snow covered roads on my Zuma's before. Its scary but I survived but it was never done intentionally.
Our local Honda shop sponsors ice racing on scooters. Tatty old Elites with studded tires. I've seen the videos but have yet to see a race in person. Pure insanity at its finest! |
