Modern Vespa

The other evening I made a stop to pick up some burritos to take out. On the way home every time I decelerated, my bike backfired. I was thinking that is quite odd for a fuel injected engine with recent maintenance. It kinda sounded cool, but I was a little concerned and babied the bike home.

When I got the food out of the top case I noticed that some of the little 1 oz hot sauce cups had escaped the bag. I realized that when I was coming to a stop, it wasn't backfiring, but the hot sauces were sliding to the front of the top case and making the sounds.

LOL, reminds of the old days putting a few nuts in someone's hub cap.

Excellent O. Henry ending, given the burrito and backfiring setup. This is a quality post.

There may be another round of backfiring after ingesting the hot sauce.
