Hello from the UK, I have just got a 2010 mp3 250 project as its been involved in a frontal accident, Just panel damage of which ive ordered replacements on ebay. Problem ive got is it starts but wont rev,battery is good.checked all fuses.Seat lock switch works,sat on seat.Hydraulic oil level ok. Tilt lock is off, cant get it to lock, even tried double clicking switch quickly. It gives a 2 second beep every 3 seconds and displays the red warning symbol on dash. No damage near the tilt ecu. Ive checked all connections on micro and pressure switches and to wheel sensors. The accident happened about a month ago so was obviously working then but havent been able to speak to previous owner as got it off a dealer.
Any ideas where to look next ?

Does the dash light go off when you sit on the seat?

If not, check the cabling or seat sensor first.

The engine will not rev if the seat sensor is faulty

Thanks, think l saw somewhere about fitting a 3 ohm resistor to seat warning wire. ls there a warning light in the dash for not sitting on the seat ?

Yes, it is the light that resembles the gear shift pattern in a car with manual transmission (minus a few gears).

It is red and sits on the bottom row just left of center.

3kΩ, not 3Ω.

I still say try the screw on the tilt motor. In another thread. If tilt lock does not work. That's a sign it's that tilt lock motor contraption.
