Hi there!

I recently bought a 2010 mp3 400.
Due to a stupid mistake it flipped over from its standing position. No damage, Just a small scratch on the steer.

Then it went wrong... turned the key, 5 times the horn... checked and flushed the roll lock, no succes.
As by some miracle it stopped, but i cant engage the roll lock. It makes no sound (no beeps no horn) online the red light stays on.

Checking the ecu on the diagnose, it says "eeprom fault". Try to reset but it Just stalls then.
Tried to clear the ecu buffer/cache , also stals on the proces...

So it seems to have a eeprom problemen Razz emoticon

Is this in the ecu on the throttlebody or in the parking control unit?

It starts and runs fine btw. If it is in the ecu on the throttlebody, can i simple buy a second handed or is there any immobiliser connected to it?
Have a black and brown key.

Thanks,

the throttlebody ecu is your immo so need reprogramming the hex codes from your old keys with a computer

but if it runs fine there must be a cable disconneted somewhere dashboard parking ecu speedsnsor lockpressuresensor pot meter or your lock mechanism is locked up due to shifting postions internaly

Well that was wird....

First changed the throttlebody ecu (New one). No changes in fault.
Then changed the tilt ecu, that solved the tilt error!

Now i have to learn the old Keys in the new throttlebody, won't rev over 2000rpm now

you need special equipment for that or is it a virgin state ecu i dont think so on a new unprogramend ecu it should run above 2000 the immo isn't enabled yet

No, a virgin ECU will only go up to 2000rpm.
