Modern Vespa

Chrome cover for top box support(above tail light) covers bracket and 2 bolts nobody seems to make one any suggestions ? Thanks

That is what I need but not made for support (1b000815) as per instructions on all web sites .It has to have a large slot for the chrome rod to slide down into. If it had a slot about 1/2 inch in dia. And about 4 inches down it would work.I was thinking about trying to cut but do not know what to use Thanks

I modified the similar chrome cover on my LX150 by grinding it. The chrome plated plastic was remarkably tough to cut through. Some finesse with a dremel with your slot marked out on masking tape would do it.

Took a dremel and cut out a piece on the top about 4 inches down so top box support bar would go thru used stainless screws to attach ,worked perfect. they sell the top. Box and support but not a chrome cover.You have to modify. Thanks for the help
