It looks great, but I would love to see this offered in a more traditional scooter layout, something with some storage options.

Yeah, I could go for an electric scooter, but it would need to have comparable performance and price to a GTS300 for it to be feasible. But yeah, it's a step in the right direction.

this is a small city scooter. it only weighs like 109kg. hardly same category as a gts300.

I am curious what the price would be. I would guess 25% more at least to a 150 scooter in their line. 4500 at minimum. fear closer to 6000.

The GTS300 has 19 lb.-ft. of torque. The F9 has 22 lb.-ft. of torque. I bet it's faster off the line than the GTS.

Will be interesting to see how the scooters-aren't-motorcycles crowd interprets this one. If you imagine the stereotypical "motorcycle" and "scooter," this is right in the middle.

But it is the small diameter wheels that are anachronistic, now you travel from a minimum of 13 "to about 15" ... it is safer; the article does not refer to the diameter.
The height of the frame from the ground should also be a safety factor.

price hasn't been announced on the awesome Kymco, but locals (in Taiwan) are saying it's going to be BIG money. Also, there's zero confirmation so far it'll make it to 'Murica. Too bad.
