Modern Vespa

Not a mileage milestone which would be awesome but none the same, I am in good shape for riding season to start here in New England.

Okay, ready for an epic riding season as I just finished the maintenance on 5 Vespa scooters. All the usual such as oil, brake fluid, air filter and since this a 2 yr mark coolant on the larger ones. Also some other minor stuff such as underbody rust, center stand, side stand and modifications.

Modifications included Admore Lighting kits in the Givi top cases, installing the new Givi top case for the wife, some added Ram mounts, MSR bottles. Also did some mods for the GTS250 that I will be riding in the scooter cannonball run this year.

Safe fun riding. Wow you must have a heated garage to be able to do all the regular maintenance that you got done. It is still cold in NYC, not that it stopped me from riding except for when we had some snow.
I am hoping the roads you ride on are wonderful, NYC roads are really really bad & it never feels like one is enjoying riding here.

I think scooters were INVENTED for bad roads. One can that in imagine post-war Italy, infrastructure maintenance might perhaps have fallen a bit behind? Ten inch and even 8-inch wheels give my scooters an agility and nimbleness unimaginable on the motorcycles I've owned. If you make a game of plotting the smoothest trajectory over the potholed streets ahead, perhaps you'll enjoy it more.
