Well isn't that interesting...

Was out in the garage yesterday working on the car. Happened to look over at the MP3 and it didn't look quite right. Gave tug on the handlebar and almost pulled it right over.

At some point during the winter I had dropped it down off the center stand to move it out of the way. Never pulled it back up. Apparently after a couple months the tilt motor must have eased off a bit.

Duly noted.

A small leak in the hydraulic part of the tilt lock will do that.
It leaves the mechanical part locked on the arc-segment.
This is why I leave it on the centerstand with tilt-lock unlocked when parked for any extended time.

Not a good idea to leave the tilt lock on for extended periods. It causes excessive wear and tear on the master cylinder among other items.

When the seals inside the master cylinder cannot hold full pressure, the bike will start to lean.
