I've not seen an orange Vespa in any of the HPEs. Do you have a photo?
These are the colors available in the US: https://www.vespa.com/us_EN/vespa-models/gts/gts-300.html https://www.vespa.com/us_EN/vespa-models/gts-super/gts-super-300.html https://www.vespa.com/us_EN/vespa-models/gts-super/GTS-Super-Racing-Sixties.html (Note, you'll also have to click through the SERIES links underneath the colors to see all the options. The Vespa website is terrible.) |

Looks like they do a lot of custom work. I suspect that is a custom paint job.
If you speak German (or run the comments through Google Translate), you may be able to confirm that. |

Near as I can tell, orange has never been brought into the US of A officially. Which is a shame, because it was my default GTS must-have color. But I'm fine with black, really...
Of course, this has been my MacBook Pro's wallpaper since before I got Melody, over five years ago...

Some years ago there was a 'special' edition of the GT200 (IIRC, i was still in the UK) that was orange. The paint work was TERRIBLE - many scooters had complete re-paints done under warranty.
I bet this is entirely different, but my trust is gone, so I'd still examine any orange Piaggio very carefully indeed... |

I LOVE that orange! And every manufacturer that paints has always had that one bad batch get out the door. Dodge cars/trucks, some Honda cars, Subaru had some. As long as the manufacturer stands behind it. I'm pretty sure Piaggio has this orange done right. My wife dislikes the passenger seating on the GTS, and it goes against our 100 miles rule but that orange is HOT! This is coming from someone who proudly owns a Highlighter Pearl Yellow Honda Fit! I would get a vanity plate that says GREAT on that orange GTS! GREAT pumpkin, get it?

Having to travel more than 100 miles for service, warranty work or repairs that are outta my pay grade. We (wife and I) let the Liberty slip by because we both liked the ergonomics, style and bigger wheels. I can just fit the Liberty in the bed of our Subaru Baja, I know a GTS wouldn't fit in the bed, plus I'm sure it's heavier than the Liberty. But that orange.... I'm a sucker for weird, bright colors!

I had an orange LX. The paint was chipping away from the plastic bits. Very poor paint preparation.

Orange is no longer a option for me. I forgot about 30k. I work for a company and its primary color is orange. I've worked at this company for almost 25 years. Great employer hands down, so its not the company color that puts me off orange. It's this guy at work we call 30k. He and his wife LOVE the company to the point of overkill. He took out a CARES act withdrawal from his 401k and purchased a orange Can Am Spyder for $30,000. He's pretty proud of this 30k purchase. But what is it rains you ask? He also bought a $45,000 Chevy Colorado is orange as well. So if I got any orange vehicle he would be all over me, welcoming me to the "club" he created. I just can't do it.

Nope Syd, 30k will never do that. Not manly enough for him. Its gotta be big, loud, dump and excessive. He told me one day that I needed a "real bike" after he purchased the Can-Am. I told him my wife had a Can-Am Spyder and she got bored with it. My comment must have hurt him deeply because he verified, thru other sources, that my wife did indeed own a Spyder. Then, one day when we were both parking in motorcycle parking, a bunch of HR ladies on their lunch walk stopped to say my Liberty was very sophisticated. They didn't look at 30ks orange tug boat!

got our orange 300 today.
poor lighting today makes it look almost red. We are going to have to reshoot it when we get some sun. Its a darker, burnt orange. UT fans are going to love it. Not at all like a bright Lamborghini orange. |

This was my Vespa GTS Super Sport 125 bought in 2012.
The paintwork on top was fine but missing in places underneath. On arrival from the garage I noticed that they had forgotten the Vespa badging all round. Because it was a 2012 model it had the problem of cutting out for a few seconds which was scary if overtaking. Eventually Piaggio acknowledged the problem and it was cured by a remap. By then I had lost faith in it and it had to go. It was a lovely colour though. somerset |
