I saw that. The color looks like baby food.

It's a marmite colour (in the UK people either love or hate Marmite). I quite like the look of the styling, it's a break from convention with the designers giving it an unusual metallic shade of yellow/giallo. The 70th anniversary edition was silver, a safe and popular colour for Vespas over the years and it sold well in the UK. It remains to be seen if this original and one-off colour will be as popular. I have doubts about the practicality of the 'wheel bag'. I think Piaggio have gone for style over function on this, the 70th anniversary model had a far more practical, sensibly sized leather top case and if you can find a good condition used one today it sells for a very high price.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the colour, not that I could afford to buy one anyway. If I was buying new though, I would go for the Sei Giorni, hands down!

I would like to point out that the wheel bag has the shape of a wheel but it doesn't necessarily have to carry a wheel.

The original bag in genuine leather, handmade 70th anniversary version has a price of over 650 EUR ..!
First kill a cow and make four it ... then sell the other three and come back with the expenses.

Or buy a replica for about 180 EUR.

I think it is there purely for cosmetic reasons Attila, with a historical nod to the days when Vespas had smaller wheels and carrying a spare wheel was commonplace.

Yes ... what I wanted to point out is that it is just a wheel-shaped bag and not necessarily a wheel holder; as for this you have given me an idea.
If it won't cost too much, I could apply it to my scooter or have my upholsterer (who also works leather) do the same one with dedicated attachments.
But the shape seems more for a woman.

Perhaps it should have been marketed as a 'Gialla 75' (f) instead of a 'Giallo 75' (m), or are motor vehicles in Italy always masculine?

I must admit that in recent times there is more and more a form of gender distinction in Italy, the more our society tries to have gender equality and the more LBGT and consequently styles in general increase.
I'm not criticizing, I'm just answering one question.
How do I know? I have friends who are psychologists, doctors and social workers and also in structures that deal with various problems; now we meet less but on the web we keep the contacts.
In this regard I will say that I have two friends (two women of 34 years of age) who are waiting for the vaccine to get married to each other and i have invited to the wedding...ehm...
First time in my life, it's nice to have new experiences, I'll ask them what they think about the wheel bag (one of them has a Honda CB 600)

It lists for $200 more than the GTS Supertech, but it includes a rear rack. So there isn't a noticeable price premium vs. the standard 2021 lineup.

I love my Elettrica so much, I decided I needed a gas Vespa for longer range and more sustainable 45+mph speeds. I placed my deposit today with AF1 for this 75th GTS.

I don't really care for the color or the rear bag. I would much rather have a racing 60's.
