I need to replace my 2008 GTS OEM top case, and hesitate about the current version ones as I don't want a smaller case. (current: since 2014) So...
Are the newer version top cases smaller than the older version ones?
It seems so from the specs - 36L vs 42L - but there are conflicting specs all over the internet, and I got some avoiding answers from people who sell the new ones ("It's about the same size"...).
Is it really 6L smaller? or have the older boxes always been 36L as well, and it's just a matter of how it's measured?
Could someone please shed some light on the matter?
