I have a P200 that had an extension tube on the exhaust made of copper. It fell off somewhere recently and I'm curious about the need/value of replacing it, or where to even find another. I'm sure someone is familiar with this.
I've used a 3/4" 45° copper plumbing elbow as a deflector to direct the filthy exhaust away from my white wall tires. It worked well doing the job as intended. I drilled thru where it lapped over the muff exit pipe and held it on with a single short sheet metal screw. I'm not the only one who's done this, and it looks like you probably found the same thing?
Copper 45 fits tight over pipe - just enough to kick the exhaust off the tire, and down. Finesse some JBWeld over it to blend it all in and voila, hokedom at it's finest.
