Modern Vespa

Hi all,

I have a 2019 Sprint 50 with the Polini 70cc,Malossi Variator and muffler upgrades,since doing the Variator and muffler,I've been getting oil in the air filter box.....

Any suggestions?

A little oil is normal. There's a clear urethane bulb with a clamp to indicate when there's too much. Pull the cover and air filter and clean it out with a rag and a bit of solvent. Might as well replace the air filter element while it's out.

Then check your oil level. Excessive blow back is almost always the result of overfilling the crankcase. If it's nominal, perform a compression check on the Malossi cylinder.
