I just did a coolant change.
It is just a matter of time before that bleeder valve leaks or breaks the plastic housing.

Does anyone know if the newer aluminum thermostat covers will fit the older scoots with plastic? Part #1A011220.

My only concern is the new design has a bleed screw that looks like it would just release coolant all over the front of the engine.

I was thinking the same thing.

Judge by the look, it should fit old engine, but I am not sure.

I don't really mind about the design, it will probably leaks on engine anyway.

After I did some compare, I found they are different.

Guess we are stuck with plastic or use 3rd party cover.
