I put a Malossi 177 kit on a Stella last fall and have been using either an NGK BR8ES in warm weather or a BR7ES in cool weather. I haven't noticed much difference between the two. I doubt you would need to consider going as cold as a BR9ES.
Remember, the Malossi 177 kit requires a long reach (19mm) plug.
Thanks. Good info. Yes I noticed that the kit uses a long plug. I have not looked into this yet but the plugs you listed above I am assuming are long reach?
Thanks again for your response.
