Anyone experiencing transmission area squealing noise when accelerating in VESPA s125 2020? its running fine but the squeling noise is annoying

i tried cleaning the CVT and regrease. then i tried bring it to the vespa dealer they said that the noise is normal and let me test the GTS 300 with a same squealing noise.

thank you i hope someone has an answer to my problem.

I had a squealing on one of my scooter once. I thought it was caused by the new belt I installed. It was really a bad bearing in the transmission. It was spectacular when the bearing failed, ruining the case, and shredding a new belt.

So, I suggest having the bearings replaced. If I am way off base someone will be correcting me soon.

Kevin Harrell I checked the transmission cover, no sign of the belt shredding and the was perfectly fine someone suggest to me that i should buy a new clutch lining. my scooter has only 1429miles Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon

Are you sure the noise is coming from the transmission? Any time I have had weird squealing sounds it's been the exhaust side heat shield. Worth checking, in case you get lucky.

I've changed the plastic spacer wheel in the transmission. Didn't feel damaged, but I got rid of the noise. GTS 300.
