Modern Vespa

Hi Guys. GTS owner from Taiwan.

My GTS was a 2014 used which I got for 1 year now.

Since one month ago, I am having problem when I turn the key the first time, the Engine light will on, LED 1 long 2 short and stay on, can't turn the starting motor, but when I turn the key again, it's ok.

After parking few hours, the problem will be back.

I then see someone mention the red key, so I tried it and it was good for 1 week.

Then till this morning, the problem stays and the red key won't work either. The battery is good but I guess I will also charge it today just be sure...

Does someone having a solution? I am thinking to change the coil on the lock but I still have doubt.

It can be as simple as the electrical connections between that coil (the 'antenna' or 'aerial') and the ECU (throttle body).

Try re-seating the connections first, before purchasing anything.

Replaced the aerial today, everything seems back to normal.
