Supers came with a couple of different headsets - round/trapezoid.
what do you mean by correct? if it tells you the speed, then its probably ok... its missing the logo on the speedo. but thats a minor cosmetic difference |

If as nomadinsiam said, you mean original, then no. My first scooter was a 150 Super. Long gone, but I do remember it was white, not black like the Rally's. Here's an SIP speedo for the Super. It would look something like this.

Is it a UK bike from new or imported? My 1976 Super (UK from new) has the trapezoid headset and clamshell speedo, which are definitely correct

Thanks for the replys, firstly, it works and I don`t intend changing it, mainly just curious as it just doesn`t look right. The scoot is an Italian import and has obviously been restored so presumably it was changed then. I may at some point get a white one as they do look nicer,

I think the originals were white with red graphics, at least on USA bikes with speedos which max out at a hilarious 80 MPH even on my '66 Super 125.
Original rebuilt by pro SpeedoKing to original specs with proper parts!
THANKS, Steve!

Haven't really studied speedos that closely, but both my supers had white (now yellow) faceplates, and a small cutout for the window, with the odometer positioned under the needle.
The one on the OP's scoot looks like a Rally repop. |
