Hi everyone.
10yrs ago I had to sell my PX125. I've recently reentered the wonderful world of Vespa with a GTV250 which I am absolutely loving.

I think I'm learning my way around it.

Is there anything I should know about caring for this beautiful machine?

I wanted to get a spare bulbs kit in case any of them goes, any ideas where to find one? Thanks

A well known problem from those years is that the fuel pumps can fail. Vespa had a recall. You should call a dealer and see if yours was replaced. The problem was related to a defect in the pumps design/manufacture where the pump would stop when it got too hot. When it cooled again it would run normally again. It never happened to me, I think, because I live in a coolish climate. I had it replaced anyway. Takes about an hour at the dealer.

It's a great bike and there's lots of info about in the forum. If you replace the headlight with an LED from Scooterwest, look for post from me about a trick to accomplish that.

Congrats on the bike. I had 19K miles on mine when it got back into and totaled. Maintenance is easy. Lots of YouTube videos from Scooterwest and McBergsma

Welcome to MV, that's a beautiful looking GTV you've got there. I like the way you've left in place the (now obsolete) road tax disc holder.

There are no bulb kits that I am aware of, but if I were you I'd buy a spare H4 headlight bulb and put it in the glove box along with a handful of replacement fuses.

Keep the chrome side rails on. There's been plenty of stories of mint condition scooters getting ruined by accidental tip-over's that could have been saved if crash bars had been fitted.
