It's for a Stella 2t. Has anyone ever used the Cuppini cowl protectors? Bought them off scooter works. Came with no instructions and the back bracket doesn't seem to line up with the license plate holes.

Anyone ever had this problem?

I had a set on my P200 but didn't have an issue. Want to post a picture of what's causing you grief?

Every rack, cowl protector, license plate holders, etc can be (or will be) a little different. You probably will need to drill some new holes in your body.

Look at this post, last comment talks about a different set for a Stella.

Looking at that picture, the bolt holes are in the middle of the license plate where there aren't any holes. You would have to drill your own.

yes?

(big question mark)

what exactly are you talking about.

also, more than likely you may need to drill holes.

Can't say about those, but the ones I ripped of my PX had a bracket just above the mudflap at the rear, and another bracket that slipped over the rear centerstand bolts in the front. The cowl protectors just slipped on to those.

Almost all of the rear Vespa accessories I've seen use either the Euro license plate holes or the US license plate holes. Since any particular bike may have one set or another depending on which market it was originally produced for, adding aftermarket accessories may require some drilling to provide the missing holes.

Just curious if you were ever able to figure out how to mount these cowl covers. I am looking at the exact same ones and I also have a Stellas 2T. Trying to figure out if it's something I could do on my own.
