Soon I will have a Racing Sixties green between my legs, but not sold on the gold.
Any thoughts on powder coating the rims yellow to match the sticker set?
Maybe someone can tell me why the gold is there in the first place?

How about changing the stripes gold instead?
I do know that especially Lotus has a thing for yellow with British Racing Green, but elsewhere it is also a very popular combo with gold.... |

I am not a big fan of gold wheels. but I thought the white/red/gold version looked really nice in person. better than pics suggest. I do like the yellow wheel idea. but it may be difficult to get yellow powder that would match nice.

I like the gold wheels and think this is one of the best colour schemes they've done recently.
By all means do what you like changing the wheel colour, but currently the gold isn't offensive and you run a high risk of fucking it up if you powder coat them... |

I am interested in this as well. Just bought a pair of used wheels to experiment on. I was thinking yellow around the outer rim and a band of yellow on the spokes (used wheels are black) that make a yellow circle when they spin.
I was going to rattle can it but am also considering powder coating the whole wheel yellow. Also think a yellow stripe on the top case would be good. |

I've decided to run with the gold for the season, with the option for having the winter rims powder coated if I don't end up liking the gold. SIP sells a top case stripe. I've purchased two, one for the top case, one for the black helmet. Keep us updated, please! |

I love the green color scheme, just wish they'd put the yellow spring from the super tech on it as the red one looks really out of place.
