Looks like a USA restored VBA; not a SEA bodge. Maybe $2000 if the engine is OK?

I'd be concerned they bent the headset tubes by tying it down that way. Look at how much the suspension is compressed.

looks janky. pre 62 should be a round tail. the painted tail light is goofy and that seat looks ass.

i'd throw 5 to a G at it.

front fender is VNA/VBA (no side swoops), headset is VNB (square speedo), frame is late '62 or later (square tail)

so, put together from parts. may not be bad, just know what it is.

I'm more tolerant and looks like somebody did a pretty good incorrect job. If the work was done right and the motor runs great and I NEEDED a bike, i might go a grand up to maybe 1500, but then the papers need to be in order too. $3900 is kookoo though for even a nice frankenbike

Thanks, the motor is dead, need rebuild, all gaskets are bad... the owner is dead, his son was going to sell it... I asked friends around and mentioned this was at a shop going up on sale soon and I got it before post for sale
