This is how I wired my GT200 with an Autocom so I can have sound from my GPS and iPod into my helmet speakers.

The first 2 photos show the L cover purchased from Scooter West with an additional power outlet cover purchased at a boating supply store. I removed the electrical connections so I ended up with a finished cover used to route the cable that goes to the helmet. When not in use i just push it back in and close the cover.

The next two photos show the compartment above the glove box where I routed the power/audio cable from my garmin 276C GPS towards the front of the scooter into the back of the GPS. A hole was drilled from there into the glove box to route the autocom cable from the glove compartment thru the blank power outlet going to the helmet. The same hole was used for the sound wire from the GPS to the Autocom. I hard wired the GPS unit to the back of cigarrete lighter.

That's a nice clean install! I'm in the process of putting one in my Burgman and tying it in with the Garmin nuvi 680. I've got a whole pile of plastic parts removed just to get the cables run front to back!

Thanks for posting the details,
Steve

My Burgman 650 is finished, now the ET4 needs to be done. We used the RAM Mounts on the Burgman with the break reservoir covers from Motorcycle Larry. Ran the wires under the hump and up throught the bar covers. My husband, Pedro, and his brother did a WONDERFUL job. I have visions of the ET4 being done soon

That's exactly what I did. I just finished putting it all back together. I ran the wires the same as you, but all the way back to the back of the pet carrier (well, helmet bucket, since Suzuki doesn't have a "no pets" sticker.) I put a hole in beside the latch, and ran the wires in through there. I put the AutoCom in the side pocket were the tool bag goes behind the bungies. I then wired the Autocom to the rear running lights, and ran the rider connector forward along the edge of the bucker, coming out at the front of the hand grip. The passenger connector comes out of the bottom edge of the backrest, and is completely out of sight.

Now I have to wire the helmets. I have no plans to add this to the LX. No one rides with me on it, and I don't use the GPS on it much.
