Hello all, while attempting to replace front brakes on 1980 P125X was unable to remove the hub. Tried with w both the tire on and off. I did all the obvious: removed castlellated nut, circlip and disconected front brake cable. Tapped it with mallet but wouldnt come loose. What else can i try. What ambi doing wrong. All videos show removal with a couple of mallet taps. Thank you!

Get a puller tool from harbor freight and it will take it off pretty quick.

Had the same problem with my Stella, but for a different reason! Forgot to take the caliper off the front disk. Doh. Even the Harbor Freight puller can't help you there.

Seriously though, get the puller set. It works great in normal circumstances.

Leave the tyre on. You can do it on your own with a knee (think Twister) but with a helper it will be easier. With a Hand each side of the wheel pull firmly on the hub. Hit the centre hard with a hide mallet. Pops off every time.
