I think it just adds a sense of "security" that makes people feel all warm and fuzzy. Plate #s are tied to an address, and depending on whether you (or somebody you know) has access to that kind of database - legally, or not - you could then find the location for any specific vehicle you wanted to make yours.

Not saying it's likely - just possible.

One thing I *don't* get is the "Put a thumbtack on the *exact* location of your house" thread in the General Discussion section - riiiiiiiiight.

Thanks! the leds are on as running/tailight. all the three - two on rear passenger pegs and one on rear reflector.
