stock bulbs (warm white)
External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text

LED bulbs #74 single led is under .20 watt. Stock single bulb is 1.7 watt... BEAT THAT!! I ordered from www.superbrightleds.com

~7 green (signals,running light,under guages)
~1 blue (high beam)
~1 yellow (gas warning)
~1 red (oil warning)
~10 leds total

I would chose different color but I love bright green also green is more brighter than other colors http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/74_t15.htm

I looked at et,lx,and bv odometers in dark, I know that color leds will make them look awesome....

Big improvement.

I have already replaced the green indicator bulbs on the instrument panel with superbright LEDs. This means I can see them flashing in daylight at a glance, instead of taking my eyes off the road for 2 minutes to study them.

But they are still not bright enough to catch my attention when I am looking straight ahead, so I also fitted an Audicator to remind me to switch them off.

Which specific bulb is required - plain wedge-base #74 or the T1.5 or B8.5 twist lock base?
Any idea if this is same bulb in the GT200?
Thanks

They look great, I had a thought, can't you just solder 12volt led's into the old sockets, making sure the polartiy is correct when you fit them back in?
Just a cost saving really as 12 volt LED's are only pennies. I have seen some nice violet LED, although they are a bit more expensive, I think i will go for red though

I wish I took pics when I replaced the bulbs... I will this friday to take odometer off and switch the gas warning led wedge in different way, it didn't come on.

All I just bought #74 led without twist lock thing... bec they r already there but led base wedge r little bit thicker so I have to push led in the twist lock base little harder, it's not hard to do, then I use the knife and carve (spelling?) about a MM off on edge where twist lock go in on the odometer, I use the plier to push it in then twist until little click feeling so it's locked.

I am sure gt200 is same what fly 150 have... but better to look at it first to make sure, take bulb out, if it's really tiny bulb #74, if little bigger it's #194.

I will take and post pics this friday

I soldered superbright LEDs in. Searched everywhere for brighter bulbs, but coulsn't find any.

It seems LED bulbs are coming onto the market now. A bit more expensive, but much easier to fit, I expect.

yeah it might be same thing like my 07 burgman 400... but worth it to take headlight cover off and look under and see what is up there on back of odometer

I wanted to go for blue or violet but they are not that bright like green.. so I was little worried about maybe blue might be hard to read but I could go for high power led for blue to be more brighter. Just a dollar more I think.

Don't have to solder leds into the old sockets, just pull the stock bulb out and put led in the stock socket, but little hard to push led in the socket, led is a bit wider than stock bulb. it was tight. So when led is in the socket, I use the plier to put socket back on odometer.

Blue wold be good if you can get bright ones, I had a VW with a blue dash, it looked really good. I'l have to try and find some 12 volt ones. What about the polarity? I guess I can check with a meter + an -.
Just a pipe dream at the mo, need to fix a lot of other things first!

yeah the leds I got are polarity, I just test which one is + or -.
My friend's vw have blue light in guages, I love it!
I think it's worth to get the HIGH POWER led (more brighter) than what I have right now.

Tiny dim LED backlight is crap. If anyone figures out how to replace it, please post!
