Iíve been hanging about this site for some time and find your posts most educational but would be nice to see your scooters. I often put faces to their scooter when driving about on the south coast of UK and never likely to meet anybody on here. A photo of your scoot would be great. This is my px125 , itís name is Ďbuzzí which Iíve owned for about ten years . Itís pictured outside Worthing pier. Itís let me down once in time ive had it when the cdi failed. Itís a dr177 with Road 2 and finally jetted correctly thanks to your help on here. Cheers all , malc

Nice looking scoot there.
Cheers.

None of my scoots really have a name.... though I suppose my VNB gets referred to as the Shitbox often.

shhh... is sleeps...

and this lump of shit

but yeah, i just kinda call 'em what they are. the TV, the PK, the T5... there's only two that break that. first is the S1... i just usually call that crap can the tuna barge. second is the super, which i refer to as the mule. it's a rolling test bed so it's had more motors and headsets and seats that you could put an ass in.

that's really about it.

no human names. just identifiers. the this, the that, the other thing.

my ram was "the champagne room" because it was champagne gold, the tacomoa is the the "the taco" and for the last 25 years my barracuda has been "the warhorse" (there's a long and sordid story behind that one).

the "new" smallie is "the nonsense machine" so there's that.

but "actual human names" nah, bro.

Hey, I have one of those, too. Seriously though, I really, really should get moving full steam on this one again now that it's nice out. I don't want to miss out on too much of the riding season. The messy, painful disassembly process is almost entirely over so I'll be ordering a whole bunch of shiny new parts soon.

My ride is called Spermy because of all the sperm-like decorations that were on it when I bought it. The PO probably dipped a packing peanut in paint and stamped it all over the body. They are all gone now, save one which I keep so I can explain the name. By the way, my wife came up with Spermy... not me.

FINALLY! They all start up and go

But none of them is really proper, the Super125(Hard Boiled) has an LML150 motor w/ 10" conversion in front but paint job is a mess, the 50Specia(Little Blue)l has a hopped up 133 but the paperwork is a mess, the green Sprint(Greenie) has a P200 motor, a blue cop bike cowl & a galvanized fake floor, and the AllState(called "the AllState")with the Vespa badge on it has a Bajaj 10" motor swapped to 8" but geared all wrong now. Nothing too desireable or valuable around here...

I did a thread about it here:
