Does anyone have a list of acceptable filters for this? I tried googling for it but nothing seems to exactly match it and I don't want to mess it up.

I don't think the oil filters change often.

The local Honda shop stopped servicing Vespas starting with the HPE, but the filter they sold me fit just fine. It would have been the same one used in your vintage (when they serviced brands they don't sell).

The oil filter whatever brand you get ones that have a nut on the top that you can put a socket on to open. I have used the K&N filter KN 183, it has a 17mm nut on top that makes it easy to install or remove.

Malossi filters are very well regarded, and the new OEM piaggio filters are made by Mahle, which is another very well known and respected company.
We have both of them.

Also, try any of the scooter part sites. Like scooterwest.com and search for gts oil filter. They'll give you some options.

My local dealer said he uses the Piaggio filters on Polaris ATVs. The Polaris filters are almost twice the price and it's the same filter (says the dealer).
