I changed the belt on my MP3 500 today and took off my variator and clutch. Everything went back together just fine, except this piece which looks to me like a bushing. I can't find any spindle or shaft small enough for it. The bike seems to be running fine without it, but I am really concerned.

Any idea where it might go?

Thanks!

Marty

Yeah. Don't ride without it.
Seriously, if your variator is missing a weight, it will throw it out of balance and eat itself. Quickly.

Thanks, but it is definitely not a variator roller. This is heavy steel and probably weighs as much as 5 rollers. I have Dr. Pulley sliders and all 8 of the original rollers are in a baggie on my workbench.

Iím hoping maybe it came from my center stand or my lift.
