Hi all,

I recently purchased a Liberty 150 and the rear shock preload was set to "1" out of "5". Is this softest setting the best to use? I am 185lbs and haven't bottomed out the scooter's suspension but it seems "3" would be where the bike would be set to by default. Any thoughts?

I weigh between 120-125, add a few pounds for gear but my setting is #1, so if you were using 1 of my scooters I would go up to 2 or 3, and I run my front tire pressure at Just Below factory settings, on the Liberty thatís 29.5, but I tend to have 28.5-29# as my scooters hold the road better, with My weight and a very slight less tire pressure. For you on my bikes, I want that front tire at that factory setting for pressure. And as my scooter accident was absolutely caused by that front tire not only being too high a pressure for MY light weight and the road we were on, but actually over recommended pressure...and NO, I was not the 1 who had over pressured that tire.. owner did and forgot or just didnít think about that and what I weight and a steeply curving downhill ride...
So, yes to adjusting that back shock and Please do check tire pressure often.
