Okay so I'll start this by saying two things.

1. I am looking for a scooter and have never owned one

2.I've done research and know the dangers of Vietnam shops doing dodgy repair jobs.

The only reason I am considering this is because its the exact model I'm looking for. Trying to replicate the look of a scooter from a show. It looks exact, just gotta add a little decal:). I'm fine with the scooter being a little bit poor quality, I'm not daily driving it and wouldn't mind working on it for fun. My question is, is it safe. Has anybody here received a scooter from them. Any old forums about receiving something from them? I understandably don't want to lose close to 2000 dollars in a scam.

Thanks in advance,

Guaranteed to loose more than $2000 if you buy that scooter from them.

There are many options out there, that are in original factory form; or have had a quality 'resto. I'd take a rusty og paint scooter, over that shiny paint that is hiding all the rust and other horrors. For $2k or maybe a little more, you can find a nice yellow Vespa that will more than suit your needs. Probably needs some work, but thats the fun part.

For your reference, Here is a link to MV thread with a very nice FLCL replica:
