Hi - hoping someone can clarify something for me on Givi top cases for a 2006 GTS250.

I don't have a rack, so need to get one: Givi don't list any boxes for my scooter at all, but do for an 08-onwards GTS300 (the SR131 rack).

Does anyone know if that will fit my 250 ? Or, if you have a Givi box on a 250, what rack did you use ?

TIA as they say.

I installed a Givi topcase on my Piaggio Fly 150... The mounting plate that comes with the topcase is pretty versatile and should be able to mount to a variety of tubular rear rack styles. What are the rack options for your GTS250?

Good choice on the Givi; I am super pleased with mine. The Givis are way better quality than the Vespa-branded topcases; if I didn't have a perfectly-matched Vespa topcase on the GTV300, I would switch it out for a Givi in a heartbeat. The GTV *looks* beautiful with the matched topcase, but the case quality is just *eh*.

I moved my Givi 37L top case from the 2009 GTS 250 I had to the 2020 GTS 300 HPE I got last fall. No issues. The mounting system is pretty "universal." I had the Vespa folding rear rack on the 2009, have the fixed rear rack on the 2020, and the top case works fine on both.

I have two 2006 GTS 250's that have a foldable rack on them. I used hose clamps with bicycle tubing to lock it down.

The Givi mounting plates were fairly versatile and I managed mount them to those racks. No issues.

Thanks for the quick replies above.

So I gather everyone is using a Vespa rack of some sort (incl flip-up).

Nobody seems to be using a Givi one I guess.

Actually I see the small print on this ad mentions my scooter, so may be that's all good then.

I have a GIVI E370 mounted on my GTS250. The rear Vespa rack is folded down and the GIVI plate attached to that. The topcase clips on and off easily.

It has a holding capacity of 39 liters big enough for my fullface helmet, raingear, digital SLR, gloves, and a jacket. Carefully packed mind you. The thing locks and will keep the contents nice and dry. There is a quick release button that allows me to remove the case from the mount if I decide I want to haul something unusual.

Here's a link to the GIVI E370.

The case is functional, durable -- I've had mine for 11 years -- and a size that's not too small or too large. Here are a couple pictures of the case.

At Trader Joe's. Topcase holds two bags of groceries.

Nice thing about that Givi E370 top case is the top cover on that can be replaced - I found a blue cover from Revzilla that matches the Blu Energia cover of my 2020 GTS HPE. Really pulls the look together...

It looked fine on my previous Vespa, which was black. Looks even better now on the new one, with the blue cover.
