Hi, problem with the engine management, I changed the tyre the other week and now the bike will start, but it chuggs and starts and stops when I try to pull away, it doesn't stall, just loses power, the asr is on and the abs is flashing, but I can't give it any throttle to do a re calibration on the back wheel, anyone any suggestions, thanks stevie

Model year of the MP3???

Current gen (2014 and newer) with ASR/ABS needs to have the ASR recalibrated every time a new rear tire is fitted.

Check for vacuum leaks, and also make sure the clamps on the snorkel hose between the airbox & throttle body is tight and not showing any signs of sucking in false air.

Easiest way to check for air leaks is to use carb cleaner on suspect areas, if idle changes you've found a leak.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm convinced it's something to do with rear wheel, everything was perfect until I changed it over,

Could be you didn't install the rear ABS sensor properly. Not installed properly, it will give the ABS and ASR systems major grief as the ASR cuts back engine output.
