I am working on 1997 Vespa HP4....a small frame with the Cosa type headset.
The one I have has NO front brake switch (and not even a hole for it )

I brought a box of bits and a frame for PK 50 and it also had a second headset included (Cosa type) in the same deal

This headset has a front brake switch fitted and is otherwise identical to mine(with out the switch

sooooooo is it a year of difference thing and they added the switch later...orrrrr could the batch sent to NZ in the late 90s have come without said brake switch

any HP4 freaks out there?

Sorry I have nothing to add.. but I've never heard of this model, it's not listed in any of my vespa books that go through all the models and I can't seem to find any photos online. Could you post some photos of this model?

Is it the 50 PK FL2 (V5X5T) or 50 PK FL2 Speedmatic (V5P1T)?
