This past Sunday I rode with a large group out of a Harley dealer in West Windsor, NY. The Hudson Valley Biker Network had the ride on their schedule for months. An organization called "Look Twice-Save a Life" was the recipient of donations from the event. Their purpose is to advocate for Bikers among the general public by making them more aware of motorcyclist.

The HVBN recently passed 6,000 members on Facebook and between the Facebook, website and information passed on to other Clubs in the region the turnout was stellar. Chief among the attendees were members of Yonkers Motorcycle Club. Yonkers is the oldest Motorcycle Club in the world having been formed in 1903 on the heels of being a bicycle Club formed in 1887.

The ride itself was short which worked well for me as a recent Health Adventure had me a little weak in the knees. I took the 250 Nighthawk since it's the easiest and lightest bike in the garage.
