ow mileage, 3200K, I got it from police auction few months ago. I have changed all fluids, maintenance cvt (rollers and belt seem fine, belt may have some slap page). Cleaned carb, replaced fuel and vacuum lines, deleted secondary air and canister.

From the day I got the bike , it drives nicely, accelerates fine and once I hit 35-40mph, it drives as if its restricted. I did notice my vacuum fuel pump may be failing, as I am still getting gas through my lines at a high volume when bike is off. I have ordered a new one and am waiting for it to arrive - could this be my problem?

I have looked at clutch/cvt with scooter at center strand and it seems to be engaging just fine, but the spring is very stiff. I have no aprilia or similar mechanics here and the scooter mechanics have failed miserably on previous scooters I have had.

I have not checked the valve clearance, as I do not want to be opening up the engine, as I am working out of my apartments parking lot. I have cleaned air cleaner, changed fuel and vacuum lines and checked for vacuum leaks via starting fluid. I have not checked compression yet, awaiting compression kit in the mail, although it passes the thumb test. Spark plug replaced, ignition coil replaced and checked stator, coil, battery with multi meter against technical specs in shop manual.

Any ideas would be awesome. I am running stock jets (35 and 92) and have the stock keihin 26mm cvk carburetor. I have ensured diaphragm is in working order, as is float bowl height. I also had a faulty auto en-richer/electronic choke and am awaiting that in the mail, but didn't think this would cause me to only hit half the potential speed. Typically it starts right up, although sometimes I need to fiddle with the fuel screw. I do bog at times, sometimes stall at lights and can't find a rhythm or rhyme or reason as to when that happens.

** edited to mention that I am roughly 6,000 ft above sea level in New Mexico and have been riding in high temperature.
