When taking glamour shots of a bicycle, there are some basic suggestions. Parallel chainline (if possible), tire valves at 6 o'clock, crank arms at 9 and 3, among others. Sure enough, if you follow those, your bike ends up looking great.

Are there any pro-tips in the scooter community? Angle of shot or angle of front wheel? Handlebar height or eye-level? Let your preferences fly!

Maybe not such a busy background with this bike photo?

Depends on the look you're going for. Strait on shots tend to look clinical as if you're trying to sell it. Angled ones lend some drama and make the eye want to wander around the image. If I have to take a straight pic (front, back, sides) I will try to take it from high up or down low.

The examples included below are oversaturated for effect.

Be careful with the use of wide angle. It makes yer ass look huge!

Rules for what makes a good photo apply to photos of objects. Control negative space, balance, framing, perspective, contrast, color, focus, etc. Be creative!

Thanks. I kind of made up the pattern to solve the problem of what to do with my drinks after a meet with my club-buds that wouldn't scratch up my Gigi.

I can usually be found crawling around on the ground trying to get the best angle to make a scooter look cool.
