Modern Vespa

Hi,
I have a 2009 Vespa GTS 250 ie Super. I noticed recently that there was oil spots everyday under my scooter coming from a valve near the oil filter. I read that if the hub oil level is too high, it can cause it to leak. I checked the level and yes, it was too high. I drained the hub oil and added 250cc of Motul Gear 300 sae 75w90.
After I was done I checked the level and it's correct now.
However, without even starting it, I see it's starting to drip again from that valve. Maybe that valve has nothing to do with the Hub oil.
Any suggestions? Is it okay to ride it until I can get it serviced?

Well, I think I'm going to take this back. I went on a pretty long trip and stopped to have lunch and when I came out, no drips.
I guess the drops I saw after changing the hub oil was residual.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

That's the water pump weep nipple which normally means the water pump bearing or seal is failing .
