I am replacing my variator cover and want to remove the entire kickstart assembly.
If there anyplace other than Scooterwest that sells a plug for the hole that is left?

Measure it and go to a hardware store and find a cap plug. I have done it on my ET and SR50.

I am curious why you guys are deleting the kick start? It saved me a couple times so I am curious.

Kicking over a 150 is harder to do than a 50, and the possibility of cracking the variator case is higher.

My battery is always topped up with a trickle charger so there is almost nil chance of me needing it

Got it! It seems harder to kick over my 80 than the 50 too so that makes sense.

On a 4 stroke it's handy when checking the valves. Just remove the lever.

The CVT cover on my ET4 is cracked around the hole so no kickstarter on that. The SR50 is fuel injected and no lick start even though the cover has the hole.
