Nothing as of yet on mine. My old 400 had the highway pegs and absolutely loved them for the longer rides where I wasn't being aggressive. Don't have them on my 500hpe. Probably going to be an Akropovic muffler at the next service as I want a little more sound from it. Maybe get 1.5hp but I just want a little more sound since LeoVince doesn't have anything out for the HPE yet. Price is just the killer for the cost to performance ratio.

I bought the Givi windscreen with the adjustable top section for my 500 Touring. I was too tall for the stock screen and the Givi gave me a huge pocket of still air for comfortable highway cruising at 140kph.

From my own bike
A phone mount of which there was a spirited and good discussion on this thread: Recommendations for Phone Mount (2019 MP3 500) Get a large Tail Box. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MF5S1S4 Its just more convenient to access for things like gloves, water bottle, jacket, small items, etc. Get one big enough to store your helmet even if you don't regularly carry an extra or stow it on the bike; the space will get used regularly. Mine is a cheapy hard plastic unit from Amazon that I drilled holes through (make a drill pattern) so I could bolt it directly to the bikes luggage bracket both because I'm too lazy to make a proper mount and the heavy bolts from the local hardware store prevent theft. A Tunnel Bag looks tempting but it blocks the parking brake so you would need to find a solution for that. Without the parking brake you'd have to find another method to keep the bike from rolling when parked. That said its good to have a plan for one just incase you need one short-term or just need to stabilize something hanging from the small bag hook above the parking brake. Tie Down Loops https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006WNUQ7G/ Strategically placed around the bike using pre-existing bolts and connection points. This allows me to use Bungee Cords to help secure luggage or duffle bags. I have two on each side of the bikes "step through" incase I need to secure a loose item (small bag, or fuel balder) there. I haven't used them much but the few times I've needed to strap something to the bike it was great having those pre-set. |

The best bang for the buck mod for any MP3 are the Bitubo rear shocks.
Single best upgrade you can make, and transforms the MP3 for the better on all fronts. Considering the price of the MP3, Piaggio should be ashamed for supplying such a garbage stock suspension. |

It's a easy DIY job, although you will need to adjust the shocks after installation to suit to your liking.

Footpegs are hands down the #1 mod. LOVE them. Three out of four MP3s in my garage have them installed.
I had MANY mods on my 400 that I loved, so when I got my 500, I pretty much did them all over again. That list includes: Givi Airflow; extra brakelight bar; underbody lighting; trailer wiring harness for DIY topbox lights (and added said lights to topbox); reflective strips on wheels; extra blinker strips on top of the dash; took apart the stock seat, cut 2" off, and put in a gel pad; got the yellow O-ring for 'cruise control'; added a heads-up display projection speedometer; phone mount (RAM for the 400, Scoshe for the 500--screwed into the dash); and as soon as they get here from the UK, will be installing Hagon shocks that will lower the scoot another 2". The only mod I've done that is purely for looks and not for safety reasons is adding this rainbow film to the headlights and front blinkers. The last 3 are not on my 400, only my 500. Didn't need to install a 12V charging port this time, since the 500 included a USB port in the glove box. Also have a tunnel bag, but I lengthened the straps and installed it on my pillion seat. By pushing it up towards the front and making sure the bag is always stuffed full (rain gear, first aid, emergency tools etc), I have a nice backrest. Cutest mod? I have a tiny passenger who rides pillion behind my "tunnel" bag, although the tunnel bag isn't on in the photo. Still need to work on the Fuzzy washer and the airflow/ air intake mod. Maybe different rollers or whatever they're called (have to look it up every time), but I don't have a variator locking tool, so we'll see.
