Any information on removing the rear turn signal pods and putting them in the red (dead) lights?Scooterswest has a kit to remove all 4 but not the 2 rear.My LX was set up this way. thanks

I just had this done, not with the Scooterwest kit. The dead red lights already have bulbs in them, as do the fronts, they just have to wired up. My Mechanic did this for me. The signals up front failed NY Inspection because the bulbs were white. They did not mention my Red rear signals...

That's what I thought .The reason I want to do this is because this is the second time a ball knocked one off? The red lights already have incandescent bulbs in them as the tail and stop lights have LED. thanks

I was told the front running lights are LED and when you do away with the front turn signals and put them in the running you have to replace the flasher also.I was also told it would void my warranty as per Vespa of Annapolis Md.

Mine is a 2019 that was stolen and recovered. The warranty ended last month...

The fronts, signals & running lights are LED, but white. I just replaced the fronts with yellow led ones 2 nights ago. They were not easy to find. A replacement LED from Phillips, barely were visible during the day and had a weird dome on it. I then found at Pep Boys, a 5 Led Amber Bulb from Pilot. These work great day or night. I have not touched the back ones, as my mechanic did the wiring work. I did not like the look of the American signals and I figured while the bike was apart anyways, this was the time to do it.

I did this on my 2019 150. The rears were plug and play - there were bulbs in the red euro signal that were not hooked up. I unplugged the pods and plugged the connector into the euro tails.

Fronts - the white euro housing had the white led running lights and a socket holder for the turn signal with just a plug in it. I ordered a socket with an amber halogen lamp that fit right in where the plug was. I had to snake the wires from the old pods (now removed) down through the head into the body cavity. I spliced these wires with insulated butt connectors.

The existing flasher relay continued to work (I did replace with an audible one). The LED running light function is unchanged, so no warranty issue should be raised.

Bulb, socket, and short wire harness.

I don't see that part number on their site any more. Perhaps you might call them.

I unplugged the pod harness but cannot get it into the euro lamp connector. the pod connector is real small where the euro connector is 3 times the size. I think I will have to cut and solder. I did call Scooterswest and they said bulb only available.Thanks

I made my dead lights in the back just light up as running lights ,Bought the kit from scooter west which consisted of a wiring harness .Very Simple .I did not do the turn signals in them as i only wanted running lights

I did the same but after 2 got broken buy balls I wanted to put them in the fenders.I just found out the rear running lights do not come with bulbs or harness as shown .In order to get it complete you have to order from Germany as per A1racing. thanks
