I noticed the coolant was low and topped it off with distilled water to the Min mark (will need to get some coolant from the scooter shop).

On a whim, decided to open up the other cover.

🤣

Luckily, I can't see any wires that have been chewed on.

(Picture is sideways. Not sure how to fix it)

The guy I bought it from had it parked in a shed out in the field. I'm sure that's where it found it's casa.

I stuck some dryer sheets in there and taped it to one of the wires. I'll check on it occasionally to see if it's back. Doubtful though.

The little buggers get in everywhere, a mouse ate a huge hollow in the seat of my MP3 a few winters back, luckily not taking out the sensor inside the seat.

Funnier still was the occasion when I was working on my 66 Honda Benly, digging around deep inside its hollow frame working on some electrical issue I kept getting stabbed on something sharp at the far end of the frame. When I finally got the offending electrical component out there was a small paper wasp nest attached. His day didn't end well as I was feeling pretty vengeful by that time.

your fix is one of these:

super low maintenance. they basically pay for themselves.

but i'd pull the glovebox, blow everything out, drop in some dryer sheets and then... ummm, release the tiny fluffy guardian of the underworld upon said intruders. preferably within a confined space, so as to be... efficient... if you know what i mean.

Reminds me of a cat I befriended in Turkey I called Scrappy-Doo. He was very wild and I couldn't get near him but one day turned up with half his head hanging off. I got him back on track but still couldn't tame him fully. He was a tough character. Eventually some **** poisoned all the strays in the area and I never saw him again

I got a phone call today from one of our Vespa girl's husband to ask me to contact a friend's wife who is an apiarist. Fortuitously, I was already with them having lunch.

The Vespa girl runs a weekly car boot sale event at a local rugby club.
Her Vespa was parked at the venue, and a swarm of bees decided to move into the scoot.
As my friends are currently moving house, all her bee-keeping equipment has already relocated, so we had to improvise.

A spadeful of coals from a barbeque fire and some wet toilet paper on top created enough smoke to persuade the swarm to move on elsewhere. Until they did, they were somewhat of a curiosity and a public safety hazard.

The right hand was all business to a T eight ways from Sunday and twice on Monday.

You name it, he killed it or they never, ever wanted another fight with him again. This includes dogs.

His specialty was squirrels. Everything else was just left in the wake of destructive nonsense as he went about the day.

Could be worse. My brother went to take a ride o his BMW KT1200 that he'd just had serviced two weeks before. Had a bit of trouble starting it and it was running rough so he headed straight to the dealer. A couple hours later he got a call saying t eyes didn't know w how he was able to ride it in as rodents had been chewing on two of his wiring harnesses and it would cost $$$ to find out if they had gotten into the third one as well Fortunately he had full coverage and insurance totalled the bike as the estimate was $8,000 IF the third wiring harness didn't have to be replaced

Any of you fellow cat lovers would get a big kick out of visiting the Lanai Cat Sanctuary here on the island of Lanai. We just went for a quick getaway and it was the highlight of our trip. There are 800 cats there in these great outdoor areas. Amazing experience for our family since we lost our Neeks earlier this year. You can adopt the cats on site and they ship all over the world. We'll be keen to do this later this year after college visit travels this summer for our oldest.
The cats come to you for some treats (cat food) that they give you a bag of to begin your visit.

All the cats are friendly and love people. Here my kids get to spread some love. Needless to say this is a pest free zone!

After watching Luca (and Ratatouille, back to back), I'm seeing potential for a Pixar production of a mouse traveling in style in a Vespa....
