Has anyone else found the GTS seat uncomfortable. If so what have you done to make it more comfortable? I'm sure this topic has been discussed before. Do you eventually get use to the seat in time?

Seat on my 2020 GTS is very uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. I will order a Corbin when funds are available.

I really like the 2020 GTS seat. It's a lot more comfortable than my old Majesty 400 seat. I had to use an Airhawk air filled seat on it. What I really like about the GTS seat is the way I can slide back to change positions. I'm 6'5" so I can slide my butt all the way back to the luggage rack to stretch out my lower back and get the weight more on my thighs rather than my tail bone. So try sliding back as much as you can for a minute or two when your butt gets tired. Everybody is built differently, but it works for me.

No issues at all here. I find the seat very comfortable - more so than most of the stock seats on the motorcycles I've owned. 5'10", 32"inseam - FWIW..
Edit... before parting with your cash, give your stock seat at least a couple thousand miles to break-in - just to make sure your first impressions hold up. (The aftermarket seat manufacturers will tell you something similar regarding their replacement seats.) |

I replaced the stock seat on my '09 GTS with Vespa's solo gel seat. Allows the rider to move rearward, making rides much more enjoyable. It makes riding 2 up not so comfortable for 2, but I seldom do so.

+1 for the solo seat. But I think two up would be impossible! Must have a tiny rider! I would think that one bump would throw the rider off! Best part of getting another seat is that if you have room to store the old one it's just two quick screws to change back. I'm 6'1 and this makes the ride so much more comfortable. I wish I would have done it years ago....

I'd +1 the Airhawk. That's what I've used for touring. I have a GTV with a split seat, and it's not the most comfortable thing in the world. I keep thinking about replacing it with a GTS seat, but it sounds like I should just accept it for what it is and use the Airhawk for longer rides.

Have tried a Corbin seat (way too firm), an AirHawk (feel disconnected from inputs), modified OEM seat (might have gotten carried away on this project) - none of that worked for me. The thing that did work is replacing the 250/300 seat with a 200 seat. ymmv |

I HATE the seat on mine. It is the only complaint I have. Headed on a 400mi ride this weekend and not looking forward to the tailbone pain. I have a lower back injury as well and it just wrecks me. I'm 5'10" and I end up right on the hump. (huhuhuh, I said hump)

I'm 6'2" and find the stock seat quite uncomfortable. The ridge across the middle of the seat is too close to the handlebars for me, and I find myself sitting on the ridge rather than forward of it.
I'm quite liking the look of this https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/seat-piaggio_PI1B8521?q=piaggio%20seat

I like to sit in the middle of the dual saddle, and like a level seat. So on both of my GTS300s I have shaved off the hump, and they are comfortable now.
I also have a mono seat that I use on occasions, but the hump on that was too far forward too, so that is also shaved. |

That's what I use with my current bike (a motorcycle) and find it an OK compromise. |
