So, I find the seat on the GTS 300 to be incredibly uncomfortable. Because of my height, my butt ends up right where the seat goes up for the pillion seat. I tried the Vespa OEM gel single seat and it didn't help. I know that the GT 200 seat is as a flat bench, does anyone know if one will fit on my 2020 GTS HPE?

I know you can fit them on earlier models but I don't think you can on the 2020 maybe I'm wrong tho.

~Bump~

Does anyone know if a GT200 seat will fit a 2020 VESPA GTS 300 HPE?

Not sure about the GT200 seat, but since the '23s have a redesigned seat, maybe fitting one of those is a greater possibility?

Your best bet would probably be to have a local upholsterer make your GTS seat flat. Others I know who are tall have pit a motorcycle seat pad or air hawk under a seat cover.

I moved my GT200 seat to my GTS250, mainly because I preferred the GT200 rack for mounting a topbox. I later fitted a mono seat to my GTS250 and now use it on my GTS300, and that works fine in spite of the slightly wider body. The rubber supports in the middle of the sides don't line up, but it doesn't seem to matter.

I also find the modern seats uncomfortable because I like to sit in the middle of the seat. Far perferred the flat seats of the two-strokes.

Is there any gaps where rain or whatnot could get into the pet carrier?

Also, can you post some photos?

Thanks for the info!!

Here are some pics of my 250, with and without topbox. I obtained a spare GT200 rack and chopped it down to fit over the seat lock and fuel filler at the back, but kept the original rack for when I wanted the topbox. I don't like the look of topboxs, but they are so damn useful.

Don't have that seat anymore. It was very comfortable.

Mike: Very nice conversion there (not to mention the other nice touches to that ride). Ironically, I always preferred the look (if not necessarily the construction) of the GT200's rear rack to the tubular version used from the GTS250 to the present. I also agree about top boxes, although I may eventually give in to getting one on account of them being, yeah, so damn useful.

That topbox was silver on my GT200, then red on the 250, and it is now blue on my 300.
